Hello and thanks to all the visitors from the Creative Space game (and anywhere else you may have come from). It was nice to "meet" some new crafty types and discover some great new blogs. I tried my best to reciprocate comments and visit all the sites linked at kootoyoo, although last night was a tad ... bumpy, and I can't be sure I didn't miss someone. Thanks, all the same, to everyone who stopped by. Hopefully I will find time to "play" again.
As for actual crafting, I've a small project (two small ones, actually) in the works that I am hopeful will be completed this weekend. They're simple bits embroidered on linen, and I'm finding them incredibly relaxing after that last doozie of a project. And it's my first time to work with linen. Yum!
Hope you have a happy weekend out there in blogland!

I love the spirals, great stitches!
I need to get some more linen, it is wonderful with embroidery.
I love the look of linen - it has a beautiful texture. These colours are lovely - enjoy your weekend project and congrats on your first 'creative space' :)
What beautifully embroidered swirls! I'd love to learn embroidery, I have so many ideas I could use it on. Lovely to meet you at the 'creative space' party and thanks for your lovely comment!
That does look relaxing. I've never tried embroidering, but after seeing lots of great examples of it lately, I'm inspired to give it a go.
Ok, you would-be embroiders, try it! Really, it's very simple to get started, it's addicting, and wonderfully inexpensive. Try it and show us what you can do! :)
Hey thanks for stopping by my blog, I've just started out and don't get many visitors! I'm following your blog now, I love finding new blogs to read!
Hullo - I'm just admiring your wonderful citrus colors! Just the thing for brightening up a day. And I promise to give embroidery a go... one day...
