My Creative Space

Shades
First things first: I should have said a big "thank you" for all the kind responses to my BMW project. It's one of my favorite things I've done so far, so I'm glad to hear other people feel good about it too. And, of course, comments are always fun to receive! ;)

Next, golly wow, has it been a week already? I had such nice, simple projects to work on, and they should've been done over the weekend. My children had other plans. Plans that involved clinging to me like spider monkeys and forgoing naps and waking at night afraid of the dark and midnight play sessions and ... Well, I'll spare you any more detail. Suffice it to say that all waking and many non-waking hours were consumed before I could even blink. This is not so conducive to needlework. So the wips are still wips. (sigh)

Creative Little People
In the meantime, since I have nothing else to offer, and it is Thursday, here are some creative space photos. Above you saw some crayon nubbins that have been collecting on my desk and some Little People watching the rain outside (placed there by my daughter). Below is a glimpse at my crafty area (collecting random piles of things in this non-creative time).

Creating Corner
More creative space fun to be had at kootoyoo. Back soon ... I hope!

Awww... the crayon stubs and little people are adorable. Its like a battle here for creative space - mine vs. theirs... Still it won't go on for long and think of all the crafting time we'll have then!! Yeah! :)

Thanks for the liner encouragement - I agree but then always think of what project you could do with the liner on the outside and there you are - lost again! Also I am with you on the sleep spider monkey - check out my next post! hang in there - surely they have to start sleeping before they turn 27?!

The little people watching the rain look so cute. Hope you get a chance to get some creating done this weekend!

I love your cotton rack! Did you make it? I really need one of those... mine are all tangled up in a box that is too small for them, every time I take one out a landslide happens!

I like your crafty space...esp the long bench to spread those crafty projects out. The thread holder is great too.
Hope you get that solo time soon...
I know how it feels when the kids decide to jiggle the routines around.

Hi, there, everyone! You know the best part of participating in Creative Space? Learning all these new words that are "foreign" to my American dialect. I may start sounding more cultured if I hang with all of you! :)

Oh what a lovely creative space! That big window is just wonderful.

My studio is also home to a big tub of balls, to keep The Little One occupied while I'm neglecting her!
